Bells and Rims

The simplest of the many choices is the Yellow Brass, Rose Brass and Red Brass. Each of these metal formulations are specially chosen by the technical staff at the Edwards facility to provide the most discerning player with the type of metal most suiting their particular requirements.

The bell weights or gauges of metal are available from #20 up to #23 gauge metal. This choice of metal is only the starting point. The custom spinning techniques, the heat treatment, work hardening, burnishing and flaming all add to the complex build of your Edwards trumpet. With each change in the character of the metal, one is adding to the individuality of your Edwards trumpet.

Naturally the diameter of your rim and your choice of this attribute are important, as is the choice of wire, soldered or unsoldered rim.
