Herald Trumpet

This instrument in the key of Bb is around 70cm in length and with the banner rings at 30cm spacing, you have the means to provide a heraldic signalling, advertising to your audience, your most treasured banner.

Bass Trumpet

Not often seen, but absolutely unique, in it's mellow, lyrical tone. This is a supplement to any brass ensemble, which fills out the sound and makes for a very special full voicing of the brass group.

Whilst there were instruments in the last century pitched in F this instrument is in Bb and provides a great addition to complete the brass ensemble.

Getzen Piccolo Trumpets

This instrument comes in both the Capri and Eterna configurations and having both three and four valve models available. Naturally they also have the Silver and Brass lacquer possibilities.

The piccolo trumpet in the key of Bb/A is also complemented by the trumpet in the keys of Eb and D. All of these are classically oriented in their use an a necessity for any symphony orchestra.

Getzen C Trumpets

Many symphonic players use the C trumpet extensively and Getzen provide for this usage with the 3060C Custom series trumpet which today is used by so many of the top players in the symphonic world.

Valve Trombone

So few manufacturers make a valve trombone, however Getzen complete the spectrum of brass with the addition of this delightful Eterna Style instrument.

It comes in a configuration which allows conversion to the normal slide trombone from the valve model quite simply. It is available in both silver or brass lacquer, but the normal jazz player using this instrument would most probably choose the brass lacquer version.

We normally quote and supply without the slide accoutrements in the brass finish, however if you require the other versions please contact us.

Marching Brass

Getzen, as you would imagine, manufacture a range of marching brass, which provides the American market with a significant volume of instruments. Since the introduction of the largest marching band in history at the Australian 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, it is quite expected that this market will generate and grow in the time to come. Getzen are ready an able to supply your marching band needs.
