Recurve Flute
These flutes come with the recurve head only. This provides the customer with a less expensive initial outlay, and the choice to purchase a straight head at a later time if deemed desirable. The alternatives are of course that the child may not continue learning the flute and you will never need the straight head; or in a few years the child may be going "great guns" and you may consider buying a new flute from us to encourage the progress, and trade in the recurve.

Both the student and intermediate flutes are available in the recurve format. This is a configuration allowing children as young as six years to start playing the flute without the disadvantage of impossible reach required on the ordinary flute by the tiny tots. Talk to us regarding the important choice of teachers and the role played by the adults.
(Teachers of the recurve flute should register their details with Eltham Woodwind and Brass to ensure we can refer students).
