Metal Head Piccolo

The metal head piccolo provides a more cutting sound and allows for a penetrating approach to the playing. It is a dominant instrument and allows the performer to ride over the loudest of the instruments. It is more aligned to orchestral work.

The more cutting sound of this instrument allows the performer to use less effort with maximum exposure in the orchestra. It has a very edgy sound designed to do all those things demanded by the most discerning conductor. With the moulded body, the manufacturer has the ability to bore tune the instrument as is necessary which is not available on metal body piccolos. This allows for perfection in tuning.
